Problem with exporting models

Hi, I've been experiencing problems with exporting models, I searched
and tried different methods for weeks, none did work. My models have
curved glass facade and organic shapes, the Playup never create
cgf.file even after I applied "clean up plugin",scaled and divided the
models, so I turned to Maya, blender exporters, did not work as well.
With 3ds.Max exporter, I received "degenerated faces" error, I
selected these faces, deleted them, and successfully exported the
model. However it looked quite different, and no textures on it. I'm
so stressed these days thinking if in the end, I have to learn 3ds.Max
in a few days and rebuild everything with it. Is there any better tool
that can import models from SU indirectly? And how do I keep textures?
Any help would be much appreicated.

I have the same problem as well. Both of my buildings have curved shapes, one exported perfectly fine into cryengine, but the other didn't work at all. The details of the two models were the same so I couldn't figure out what was wrong with the one that couldn't be exported. Can somebody help me please!! I am getting more and more desperate...

Have u put texture on the curved surface? I can export curved surfaces without texture.. But when I am putting my own texture.. It doesn't work.. May b u can try without putting any texture on ur model..
