Hi again,

I found the problem with the exporting that I had, playup is exporting
things as DAE files, but not CGF files which are the ones that work
with crysis. How do I change this so I can actually put my things in
crysis properly?

Cheers

Hey Angus,

I had the same problem with my second assignment. You need to make
sure you have the playup properties export file path correct. I was
generating DAE files instead of CGF and this was fixed by correcting
the exporting file path.

Good luck, hope this has helped!

Hi Angus,

John, good advice (it's probably the RC path that needs to be
checked).

Angus, did it help? Incorrect textures can give the same problem.

Hey guys.

Im having the same problem too where exporting the group creates
a .dae file. Both RC and level paths are correct (C:\Program Files
(x86)\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis Wars\Game\Levels\[my level] and C:
\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis Wars\Bin32\rc
\rc.exe) and ive tried using it with different textures, either
customer, or default or just normal ones from sketchup and it still
only imports the .dae file. i alsot ried just changing the extension
name to .cgf, but when importing it to crysis all that appears is a
yellow sphere. Any help will be appreciated since im starting to freak
out haha.

directory to game/objects .. i did that too but ocne again just
exports a .dae file.
