Hi all,

I have been attempting to get my elevator components to rotate in-game
(instead of just moving in a line). Just wondering whether anyone
would be able to help me out with this?

I have searched the internet in vain and have only found a couple of
dead links on the incrysis site. I am sure it is possible, as there is
a node in the flow graph named 'rotate-entity-to' but have not been
able to work out how this works.

So, really asking whether anyone has any tips, or has found any
tutorials that cover this.

Thanks.

Hi,

I'm having a somewhat similar issue. I'm using RotateEntityTo, and
I've manage to get something to rotate by changing the destination
coordinates (which I have assumed is the amount of degrees you want to
rotate the object along that axis). However I'm having issues knowing
which axis to rotate it about, especially after it has been rotated
something like 90 degrees (it appears that the axis then changes??).
As a result, I have been able to make something rotate, but then I
can't get it back to the original position.

Not sure if that makes any sense, but like Patrick I'd be grateful if
anyone has any tips or tutorials.
Thanks,
Saskia

Hello,

The rotation coordinates are not how many degrees you want to rotate
but i believe the are actually the actual 'rotation coordinates'. To
get the one you want move your object to the desired rotation with the
tool, and while the tool is still selected you should be able to see
the rotation of it (instead of its position) in the XYZ axis.
