Assigned Materials dont save properly.

I have this problem that the materials dont save properly after i
paint layers and assign the materials from the game objects (like
glass). So, everytime i open up the file again, the painted layers and
assigner textures are gone. Does anyone know how to solve this
problem? thanks.

i have been having the same problem... i dont know how to solve it yet
though! have you found anything out yet?

Do this:File>Generate Surface Texture (default values should be
fine)File>Export to EngineFile>Save Now close Sandbox and reopen.

and for the material problem, the tip is all
Crysis materials will revert back to default everytime you restart
Crysis, thats what happened to me, everytime i restart Crysis, the
material i just assigned was gone. So, the right way to do this is,
1. select the object that u want, then go to material editor.
2. find the material u want, and copy all the settings and textures
from the Crysis material to your objects material.
