One Elevator?

Hey,
Probably a stupid question but is it acceptable to just have one
elevator? My idea is that the bridge snaps at the middle to become the
elevator and if the clients are at either end of the bridge it seems a
bit pointless to have two elevators. Surely the clients wouldn't mind
sharing and it isn't the Red Centre after all.

Yeah, my tutor told me to just have the one but I want some additional
confirmation that I won't fail. Doubt I'll get any though.

Hi Garth,

I would try to combine two elevators so they appear as one ... you
might be able to emphasise the snapping effect if the two parts have
subtly different movements.

If the brief asks for two, then two are required. But applying a
strategy like the above might let you satisfy the brief as well as
your own vision (a balance you'll need to get really good at in
practice).
