Hi all,

I want to use "lines" to act as objects in my sketchup model but when
I import them into sandbox, they aren't visible.

Help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Caroline,

I would suggest making the lines into objects ... use a very long
skinny rectangular prism for example (and colour it with one of your
dark textures). I wouldn't use a cylinder because you wouldn't be able
to tell it was round if it was very skinny and it would create a lot
of unnecessary polygons.

Cheers

Hi,

I made my sketchup model to scale with appropriate measurements but
when I put it in sandbox it looks small. Is there anyway I can expand
it?
I've put so much time and effort into it. The last thing I want to do
is redo it.

Thanks.

hi caroline,
you can resize it .... there is a little icon on the top of the screen
menu. It is next to the move tool (with all the arrows), the the
select and rotate tool, and then to the right again is the select and
scale tool - it looks like a bigger box with a smaller box overlapping
it, hover over the buttons and you should find it. It scales like in
skechup ... use the axis origin box to scale uniformly ... click on
the icon, click on your box and scale and move and rotate to get it in
the right spot.
Hope this helps you quickly so you can carry on ....it's frustrating
when you get stuck and can;t move on :-)
