Hi all,

Having major issues with scaling objects in crysis and then the guy
falling through them. I know that the collision works because i test
it everytime before i scale in crysis. The problem is I cant scale it
in sketchup because then its too big to import...and it sometimes
works in crysis but mostly not. Does anyone have any idea why this
would be happening and how it can be avoided?
thanks so much

I also had the same problem when using the scale tool and the guy
falling through the object.

However it only happens sometimes when you scale on a singular X,Y or
Z value.

If you scale the entire object by picking the yellow square in the
middle to scale on all 3 values at the same time it works fine.

Hi Guys,

Glad you found the answer (thanks Daniel).

Just to clarify ... the physical size of an object won't stop it from
being exported/imported properly (remember the huge one I brought in
during the lecture demo?). What will give you trouble in terms of size
is the polygon count (max = 10,000). I just left a tip about that in
the tips and tricks Sandbox2 thread.

Avoiding scaling in Sandbox2 would be another good tip.

Cheers
