Guys,

This is a follow up to an e mail I sent out last week.  It sounds like it will be quite a deal.  I hope some of you  or your club members can make it.  Rats, I have to work.

Stan

All,
This is the latest for the hiss and boink as part of the Durand Open Space dedication.  Also bring your hand launch airplanes as it should be fun to show off both kinds of flying.  Also there will be river walks and birding activities so it might be fun for you significant others as well.  This is a great way to do some community outreach and show off our thermalling skills to the birders!
See you on Saturday.

Thank you for being a big part of Soaring the South Valley event on April 20th from 8:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. at Durand Open Space. Please review the attached flyer and agenda/map.

This is the first time we are organizing such an event in the South Valley and are very excited. Please help us promote the event by posting flyers and inviting friends and family to attend. While the event starts at 8:00a.m., we are requesting that volunteers and activity leaders arrive by 7:30a.m., or earlier if you need more time to set up. I will have coffee and snacks available for the early arrivals.

Durand is located at 4750 Isleta Blvd.; however, there is limited parking. Therefore, we are requesting that you drive into the property to drop-off any items you may have for your activity, and then move your car across the street. Volunteers will direct you to the parking area. See the map and directions to the property below:

The Durand property is located at 4750 Isleta SW.  From Abq, take I-25 south and exit on Rio Bravo.  Go west and turn south (left) onto Isleta.  Follow Isleta south approximately 2 miles, south of Gun Club.  The Durand property is on the east side of Isleta.
