Dave Gee published a challenge photo in the new Model Aviation.

I had a strong hunch that was verified by my rare out-of-print book Flying Colors by Green and Swanborough.

It is a photo of a Nakajima Ki-43 Hayabusa (Peregrine Falcon) with the Allied reporting name "Oscar".

Dave replied "You nailed it!" and now I have to complete a no-cal of his Vought SB2U Vindicator. I love doing no-cal subjects.
