Cel Phones?

Does anybody know a good cel-phone company? I'm going to make the jump
to the 20th century and get a pair for Eli and I. But I am in mortal
fear of picking the wrong company. Any Thoughts?

I've been pretty happy with Cingular: good coverage, okay prices, free
calling between Cingular customers.

As long as you do some research on special deals, Verizon, Cingular,
and TMobile seem to have a lot of commonalities. My advice is to check
with anyone you think you'll be calling a lot and go with the same
company because that often means free calls between customers. We
just made the jump ourselves and got Verizon partially because her
parents have it and my parents are local. Oh, your friend/relative
might also be eligible for a credit on their account for the referral,
so free brownie points!
