Well, since ARC is closing soon,  I guess you'll need a crash Course ? <GRIN>  The only thing that be left is a link to Animals Speak.

I cannot relinquish my record of being in a state of other worldliness and not understanding so here goes, once again..

Does this mean that I will no longer be able to send emails to the arc-animal-resources-central address?  Will I have to post directly to the Animals Speak Forum or will there be emails that will show up in my mom...@aol.com account as the arc ones do?

Will I send emails to the letstalkpetfoods address when I find an alert on a new food recall or just go to the forum and post it somewhere on there?

I really like the Animals Speak forum, but have gotten so used to the arc emails that I will sorely miss them for awhile once they no longer exist.

OK Sandy here goes your crash course. Grins.
If you want to post things for Animals Speak you will have to go to the forum. Log in and then Post where you want to post at. As there are many boards there. When a person replies to your post you will then get a notification in your email. Below is an example of how it looks.

Although if you would like to be notified of new posts then these are the steps you need to follow.

Using Animal Rights vs Welfare for an example here and being your a moderator you may want to have this board set.

Must of course Log in first.
Click  on Animal Rights vs Animal Welfare board
You will see Subscribe to Forum.
Click on Subscribe to Forum
That's it. You are now subscribed to that board.

What does this mean? When a person posts a new post in say Animal Rights vs Welfare you will then get a notification in your email with  Animals Speak (email), subject line: New Topic. It will have:

Hello Sandy,

You are receiving this notification because you are watching the topic,
"Animal Rights vs Welfare" at ". This topic has received a reply since your last
visit. You can use the following link to view the replies made, no more
notifications will be sent until you visit the topic.
(link).
You will click on the link to go to that page. You need to be logged in of course if it's a private page to view it. But must be logged in to post no matter what.

Then you type your post right there.  It just takes getting use to it. lol.  Does this make sense?

Any food related stuff I do believe it would be Pams letstalkpetfoods address. But if it is different I am sure she'll tell us. grins.

ROFLOL. Guess I should have told you that it's a sub forum. Got to go into Pets & Farm Animals under Amazing~ Fun & Famous Animal videos & stories.  Because of being so many forums we had to do sub forums within so one doesn't scroll down a long list. grins.

Being there is a recent post there you also could click on view active topics.

I just popped over and your posts are fine where you have them. Only thing is in the EPA Methane Tax on Livestock your links didn't show up properly This is where you have to make sure that you have then link and after link with no spaces. Then the links will work correctly.

So you will have to get the links again just do not forget the & so they will work.

example http://animalsspeak.org that's how it should look in your post before submitting it.

Good Job !!!!!  Thanks Denise for your help!

As always you are a fantastic moderator and I could not have chosen a better one <G> ~  You are always here when I am not and even when I am .......and you are greatly appreciated !

Sandy, to answer one of your previous questions about ARC.

All that will be left of ARC is a link directing everyone over to the forum and eventually, I will create an index copy of the main forums on Animals Speak, so people will know what to look for and what forums exist and which ones they can access as guest and which one they must be a member to read.

So, no one will be able to post on ARC, once this takes place probably around the end of this month, or beginning of February, once I am done closing PG.l

ARC will then just be a link to and an outline of, AnimalsSpeak.
