The IWPA (iSimangaliso Wetland Park Authority) is busy with their IMP
(Integrated Management Plan) review.

The Association of Recreational beach users feels that our interests
are not being addressed by this Integrated management plan for the
iSimangaliso wetlands park Authority.
These concerns will be addressed at various platforms including the
Mtubatuba local municipality IDP (integrated Developement Plan), where
the iSimangaliso wetlands park Authority is compelled by law to
integrate their plan with the Mtubatuba Municipality Integrated
Development Plan.
The world heritage convention act (Act 108 of 1999) is quite clear in
this, and if this procedure is not followed, the Association of
Recreational beach users will take the Minister of DEAT (Department Of
environmental Affairs and Tourism) to court and sue him (the Minister)
for failing to perform his duties of over sight.
If the IWPA (iSimanagliso Wetland Park Authority) does not have a
senior staff member at the next IDP PRF (Integrated Development Plan
Public representives Forum) of the Mtubatuba IDP (Integrated
Development Plan)
This will come as a big shock, especialy since they believe that
holding their own IMP (Integrated Management Plan) open day will solve
all these issues. This action will take place as prescribed in the
Constitution of South Africa (act 108 of 1996) in conjunction with the
world heritage act (Act 49 of 1999)
