                        VR1   -  We Are One  – is an organization which stands strong and tall on a foundation of 25 years of thorough research on human behavioral patterns. VR1 has been founded and led by Mr. S. Vijay Kumar [SVK]. Besides being an academician, philosopher and a mentor to many students for over 30 years, he has been striving vigorously to contrive one permanent and fruitful solution to make this society a happy place to live in. Out of his vision and action, VR1has emerged with a mission to make the world ‘One Happy Home’. VR1 is a non-profit organization. VR1 is non-political, non-religious & non-commercial. The philosophy of VR1 is:

“TO WIPE AWAY THE DARKNESS, WE SHOULD FOCUS ON SPREADING THE LIGHT SO THAT THE DARKNESS DISSOLVES BY ITSELF.”

                        Many students from about 1000 institutes like the prestigious IITs, IIMs, BITS, NITs, Medical colleges and numerous other professional colleges, teamed up and thus, VR1 was launched on 1st January 2009, heralding a new era in human progress. VR1 members, pioneers of the Sitizens (pronounced as Site-e-zens; citizens with social responsibility) spread over many countries around the globe, are the pillars of strength that hold VR1 together.
                        A journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step. Our first step begins with students and children as they are the 'agents of change' in our society. We must bring about this change from the root level i.e., “ATTITUDE” We wish to inculcate right attitudes among students through RAP (Right Attitude Awareness Program). When these students with social insight begin to engage in productive activities, the elders in turn would realize their social responsibility and take a step towards making a difference. They would also guide our children, the future citizens to become Sitizens.
                        We have evolved a step by step approach to realize our mission. In order to maintain the safety and stability of the system, we shall announce the different 7 different phases one after the other at the appropriate time. Under phase 1 VR1 has launched RAP (Right Attitude Awareness Program) and KOSSIP (Knowledge Oriented Speaking & Systematic Intelligent Performance) worldwide. In addition to them, VR1  has launched the “MOTHER INDIA PROJECT” in India which includes,

                          Phase I of ISP 2010 was conducted successfully from Feb 1, 2010 to May 30, 2010. Over 10,000 participants from various institutions like IIT's, NIT's, BITS, IIIT's,ISI, IIST, IBHU, ISMD, SASTRA and many other national and local colleges across the country took part actively in ISP 2010 Phase I. Over 200 participants won scholarships in Phase I.
In phase 1 of ISP (Instant Scholarship Program), two students of our IIT DELHI had been awarded scholarship,

                           ISP 2010 Phase II was conducted successfully from 05 Sep 2010 to 26 Jan 2011. Over 50,000 participants participated actively from more than 1000 institutions including premiere institutions like IIT's, NIT's, BITS, IIIT's, JIPMER, ISI, IIST, IBHU, ISMD, SASTRA, SRM , AMRITA and many other colleges. Over 2000 participants from various colleges across the country won scholarships and gifts in ISP Phase II, 2010.
In phase 2 of ISP (Instant Scholarship Program), one of our students had won the scholarship,

                           VR1 creates a common platform for students, children & the VIPs (Visionaries, Intellectuals and Philanthropists) in order to integrate their small individual efforts into a mighty power.
