@All ... I also feel that there's a need for awareness regarding machine usage ....

I often hear loud noise out of dryers when people don't put clothes into the dryer in a levelled fashion. Those of us who have seen some salesmen giving demo of how to use dryers may immediately realize that proper placement of clothes in it does not make that loud noise.

So, I feel that reminding people using posters that they should not treat Washing Machines as "One time utility" will help in spreading awareness. Anyways, we need to learn this art also in order to please our spouse after marriage :)

Also, Toilet Cleaning has once again turned pathetic. I often see choked water outlets in Bathrooms. Please tell Jagdish and his gang to be serious in their duty of cleaning.

Sir,
Regarding the washing machines on D floor, I would like to say that the machine on D senior is totally out of order and neither the dryer nor the spinner of washing portion is working. The machine on D junior has not been installed, which means that the "things wrong with it" is that it has not been connected to electricity as well as to water supply with the supply pipe still locked with bolt(other implications may arise at later stage). Moreover, in my knowledge, the machines have been in this state for the last two and a half months. I would suggest you to take a look over all the machines in hostel as not more than one or two are in working condition.

I don't think "Handle with care" has got anything to do with installation of washing machine and its connection to water supply at least.

Ya. Its related to using it ! Not with installation....Maybe we need to use
it judiciously after it is installed and water supply is in place!
