*****ARARA CONFERENCE 2014*****

The 2014 ARARA Conference will take place in Rock Springs, Wyoming,
July 3 - 7.

Publication Deadline for Papers Presented at ARARA 2014 in Rock
Springs

For authors wishing to have papers published in AIRA volume 41 (which
will consist primarily of the papers presented at the Rock Springs
conference), there will be a deadline of May 2, 2014 for receipt of a
final reviewable copy of the paper you wish to have considered for
publication. The slightly earlier than normal deadline is due to a
combination of editorial schedules and the later-than-typical July 4th
weekend date for the Rock Springs Conference. Papers must be received
by Jim Keyser by May 2, 2014 for consideration for publication in AIRA
volume 41. This early deadline will not preclude anyone from
presenting a paper at the Rock Springs conference, since any paper not
submitted in time for Volume 41 can be considered for the subsequent
AIRA volume 42.

Anyone desiring to receive a copy of the Author's Guidelines for AIRA
Volume 41 can contact
David Kaiser

Send your final papers ready for peer review to Jim Keyser

*****NEW ARCHEOLOGY BLOG LAUNCHED*****

‘Can you dig it?’ www.c-u-d-i.blogspot.com

The aim of ‘Can you dig it?’ is to provide up-to-date and interesting
information for the archaeology and heritage community. The content of
its posts will vary from news items, conference announcements with
‘snap shots’ of particular sessions, additional information on
published content from Maney journals (whether it be a popular
article, editorial or special issue), interviews with a specialist at
a major conference or a profile of a society.

The blog is not profit driven and we do not anticipate any journal
revenue. It stands apart from our other social media outlets as the
Maney Publishing branding is kept to a minimum (with a small logo in
the bottom left-hand corner) and there will be no journal branding
what so ever. We invite contributions to the blog from active
participants in the online archaeology/heritage community.

Any ideas for a post to the blog can be submitted using our online
form: www.maneypublishing.com/cudi
