Hi,

BeePi 3.0 has been released with many new features.

What's new :

• EasyAraMint now boots in a standard way from the auto folder. You can boot in multitask, in single task, in native FVDI true colours mode or in Videl emulation, using the classic Xboot boot selector like on any Atari hardware. The previous TOS mode with TOS 4.04 is no longer necessary and has been removed.

• Aranym now always runs in fast JIT mode, increasing by 2 times the speed of applications running under Videl emulation 
  vs BeePi 2.1

• Hatari can be updated online.

• Hatari HDD image increased to 512MB with new pre-configured STE and Mega STE setups.

• Installation of webone, https proxy server, allowing Netsurf to browse web sites with https protocole.

• Rewriting of Zipit and Qextract with automatic update of desk directory window and standard information window.

• 2 separate distributions for RPi 3 and RPI 4/400 : RPi 3, based on Debian Buster and RPi 4/400, based on Debian Bookworm.

• Update of Emutos, Hatari, Mint, GBE, Vision, Netsurf, PhWeather, Cops, QED, Teradesk, Toswin2 ...

Philippe, that sounds awesome and I'm looking forward to trying it when I get the chance.

What did you do about the problems running Aranym JIT from recent versions of the Aranym source? Is this still using an older version of Aranym or did you figure out how to solve the problems? (I'm very sorry I haven't had the skills or the time to help more over recent months!)

Great job Philippe! Please make a new EasyAraMiNT with the same set of features, too. :-P (sure, one can do it by hand but there's nothing like downloading the archive and running in 5 seconds afterwards!)

Hi Chris,

I am still using an old version (1.02) of Aranym JIT. Unfortunately, it’s far above my skills  to figure out what’s going wrong with recent versions.

Now that Petr has a RPi400, I hope that a solution could be found.
