MacAranym demo

Hi,

Here is a demo from MacAranym under macOS...

This includes various 2D and 3D plots of the Archimedes spiral
in Eureka 2.12. The configuration is a 27" iMac running macOS
10.14.6 Mojave. This is to show that we can get every latest
versions of ARAnyM, freeMiNT etc. and make it run under macOS.

We install and use an ATARI software called Aniplayer from Didier Méquignon, and read a QuickTime video. That should be running on any machine...

Hi,

In facts, there is video flow loss with this demo from Aniplayer. This is caused by the use of JIT compiler with MacAranym. If you use Aniplayer with the non-JITc version, there's no video flow loss at all. But that is true with the master branch of MacAranym, not with the latest branch.

With the latest branch of MacAranym, when you want to play the video with Aniplayer, the video is not reading, and you only have a black window.

I wonder why, because playing this Jack Tramiel's video is a very good benchmark of what we can do with ARAnyM, compared to other physical ATARI machines. ARAnyM is playing it very fluently :-)

Does someone else could experience that ? I hope it helps...

That's because I use the non-JITc version of ARAnyM.
