arangodb-river-elasticsearch replacement for latest Elasticsearch versions?

Hi there,

currently planning our next-NG application stack which should be driven by ArangoDB and Elasticsearch.

Since the River plugin of ES has been deprecated or removed lately...is there a replacement for

arangodb-river-elasticsearch

available or a strategy how to integrated ArangoDB with ES?

Hi Andreas,
as you may have noted, https://github.com/arangodb/elasticsearch-river-arangodb is a java implemented adapter that is  a user contribution by Patrick Huber.

However, upstream ceased support for the river interface, the Logstash API only supports ruby adaptors.

In the short run there won't be resources in the ArangoDB core team to implement this.
We would however (as we always do) appreciate and support community contributions.

Maybe an arangodb driver for ramses/nefertari ( https://github.com/ramses-tech/ramses ) might be an idea? By now there are existing drivers for postgres and mongo.
