ArangoDB version 3.9.12 released

Dear ArangoDB users,

We are happy to announce the release of ArangoDB version 3.9.12!

This patch version is ready for production deployment and is a recommended upgrade for all 3.9 users.

Please notice that according to EoL policy as of September 15, 2023, support for ArangoDB 3.9 will end. We encourage you to upgrade to ArangoDB 3.11.

Apart from some basic cleanup and code improvements related to found issues, the following notable things have been added to the 3.9.12 version of ArangoDB:

• Updated arangosync to v2.19.3.
• Updated OpenSSL to 1.1.1v and OpenLDAP to 2.6.6.
• Updated ArangoDB Starter to 0.17.0.
• Added startup option `--replication.active-failover-leader-grace-period`.

Version 3.9.12 distributives can be obtained at https://www.arangodb.com/download/ and https://download.arangodb.com/arangodb39/.

Also there are special docker images for the 3.9.10 release that are able to run on mac M* computers. These images are not supposed to be used in production and are capable only for development purposes:
