ArangoDB version 3.12.3 released

We are happy to announce the release of ArangoDB version 3.12.3!

This patch version is ready for production deployment and is a recommended upgrade for all 3.12 users.

Apart from some basic cleanup and code improvements related to found issues, the following notable things have been added to the 3.12.3 version of ArangoDB:

• Speed up shortest path further by using a neighbour cache in the SingleServerProvider.
• Speed up shortest path computations by choosing more diligently which side to expand next. This brings back 3.10 performance.
• Add file descriptors to telemetrics.
• Removed the deprecated Batch API (`/_api/batch`).
• Change dumping of VPack to JSON for large double values with absolute value between 2^53 and 2^64.Updated ArangoDB Starter to v0.19.6.
• Upgraded OpenSSL to 3.3.2.
• Rebuilt included rclone v1.62.2 with go1.22.6 and non-vulnerable dependencies.
• Add native support for strict ranges for MDI.
• Extend COLLECT optimizer rule to consider existing SORT nodes that cover all group variables.
