ArangoDB version 3.12.6.1 released

We are happy to announce the release of ArangoDB version 3.12.6.1!

This patch version is ready for production deployment and is a recommended upgrade for all 3.12 users.

Apart from some basic cleanup and code improvements related to found issues, the following notable things have been added to the 3.12.5.2 version of ArangoDB:

• Updated ArangoDB Starter to v0.19.14.
• Rebuilt included rclone v1.65.2 with go1.24.9 and non-vulnerable dependencies.
• Update tzdata as of 05.11.2025.
• Added automatic authentication via /_open/auth to client tools as well as automatic JWT token renewals.
• FE-825: add new logo, update colors based on new branding.
• Improved performance of filtered vector index queries by batching document  fetches during index iteration.
• Add option --server.jwt-token to arangosh and all other client tools.
• Add API for deployment ID: /_admin/deployment/id.
• Rename the `--experimental-vector-index` startup option to `--vector-index` and remove the experimental flag.
• Add vertex collections for graph queries using edge collection syntax from named graphs. 
• Add filtering support for vector index queries.
• Upgraded OpenSSL to 3.5.4.
• Deprecate rocksdb.transaction-lock-timeout option since we would internally change this to a different value.
• FE-636: bump jest from 27.5.1 to 30.0.5 (latest version) (form-data package is
    no longer included).
• FE-636: bump http-proxy-middleware from 2.0.6 to 2.0.9 (latest 2.X version).
• FE-636: bump @babel/traverse from 7.14.8 to 7.30.0 (latest version).
• Add option --database.auto-upgrade-full-compaction to run a full RocksDB compaction on database upgrade.
• Improved the endpoint used by the Graph visulaizer tool to run a better performing query.
• FE-636: remove axios (unused dependency).
• FE-636: bump moment from 2.18.1 to 2.30.1 (latest version).
• FE-664: Add support for the new innerProduct metric in the vector index creation form in the collection Indexes view.
• FE-636: bump crypto-js from 3.3.0 to 4.2.0.
• Add new API /_admin/server/aql-queries to show recently executed AQL queries.
• Add inner product metric for vector index and APPROX_NEAR_INNER_PRODUCT() AQL function.
• Improved performance of document-search query in graph settings UI (BTS-2149).
• Upgraded bundled version of RocksDB to 9.5.
