There is a link to the Peshitta Foundation, wherein are posted the
English Translations of some of the passages of the Peshitta Text of
the Scriptures, as well as other Translations which can be read for
comparison with the Peshitta text. The link is: www.standardversion.org.
Please check it out, and let me know what you think. I thought it was
very interesting when I checked it out myself, and I continue to use
it from time to time, in adition to using this group's Aramaic Tan"kh
homepage, about the Jewish Aramaic Tan"kh. It will be interesting to
compare the translations of the Translator here, with those of the
Translator(s) in the Peshitta Foundation link above. May Yahweh
bless you, and safeguard you. Yisrael Foreman

Shlama,

Well, I know about their site and I have personally met Stephen Pingha
who happens to be the director of the Peshitta Foundation. I believe
you will find their manuscripts are very different in many aspects
when compared to commonly known Aramaic texts.

For the Jewish Aramaic Bible I use different manuscripts than those of
the Peshitta Foundation so there would most likely be some marked
differences.
