Upcoming Qualifiers Logistics and the Safety Contract

Hi all,

This is a reminder to please fill out the 1/13 Wilcox and 2/3 Justin-Siena carpool google forms by tomorrow, 12/11, so that we can organize the carpools. If you filled out the carpool forms before 12/7, please fill it out again since we added some questions regarding food for the qualifiers. We will assume that you have your own ride there if you don't fill out these forms. In addition, we have attached the field trip form for the 1/13 qualifier below. Please turn in a physical copy of the 1/13 field trip form to the Robotics Mailbox in the Aragon Main Office by this Thursday, 12/14. Furthermore, we handed out a safety contract at the last meeting. Although the members did take a safety test in the beginning of the year, we updated the safety contract since we introduced new power tools this year (such as the band saw and the Dremel tools), and it is important that everyone knows the safety procedures as it can get dangerous quickly. Therefore, everyone is required to sign and turn the safety contract in to the the Robotics Mailbox in the Aragon Main Office by this Thursday, 12/14. We will not let you work near the robots or in the shop unless you turn in the contracts, so please do it ASAP! 

Lastly, we are still looking for any parents that can stay for the duration of the qualifying tournament in order to chaperone, so please tell us if you're able to. Again, for the 2/3 qualifier in Napa, we are looking for parents who can drive district vans instead of their private cars, so that we can transport more students in one car. Please note that parents who drive district vans will need to pick up the vans in the morning and stay for the duration of the qualifier. Please let us know if you have any further questions, comments, or concerns!
