Hi,

I am currently working on a project focused on effective edge and cloud workload offloading in rural networks. I have been using the GPU node in the agronomy farm to run the edge workload experiments, which has been very helpful.

For the cloud-side experiments, I would like to ask whether there are higher-end GPU nodes available that I could request access to. I’m trying to plan the experiment timeline and would appreciate knowing what cloud resources might be available.

Thank you very much for your help!

Best,
Una

Hi Una,

Thanks for reaching out. Currently, ARA has two GPU-enabled edge nodes available, one at Agronomy Farm and another at Research Park (which is temporarily under maintenance). Both nodes have identical GPU configurations, and we currently do not have GPUs with higher specifications.

For your information, the nodes at base station sites (e.g., BS and host computers) are equipped with higher compute capacity (e.g., 32 cores and 64 GB RAM), which might meet your computational requirements depending on your use case.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Regards
Sarath
