ARA PAWR update: AraFest'24, travel grant, NSF supplemental funding, article on design & implementation

Hope you have been enjoying the summer!

 

Thanks for your support for ARA and for being the very first users of ARA! We have been making great progress in ARA development and ARA-enabled research, and please find below a few important updates:

·      AraFest’24 and Travel Grant: AraFest’24, the second ARA annual community event, will be held during August 24 – 27 and coincide with the 2024 Farm Progress Show, the world’s premiere AgTech event. The main program will be held during August 26-27, and a tentative program can be found here. NSF travel grant is available to students/academics; applications are considered on a rolling basis, and the application deadline for full consideration is August 14, 2024. You and your colleagues are most welcome to join us!

·      NSF Supplemental Funding: Existing NSF awardees can apply for supplemental funding to conduct experimental research in PAWR platforms such as ARA.

·      Article on ARA Design & Implementation: If you are interested in the design and implementation of ARA as well as ARA-enabled research, you may find the article informative.
