looking to beta test the ara platform

i am looking to get my hands on a testing unit for project ara and am wondering if anyone is wiling to let me beta test as i have had previous beta testing experience with other phones

such as

blackberry priv

htc one m9

ubuntu phone

one plus 2

Google has already picked their beta testers a couple of years ago. You could ask Google. But, if you want to beta test it, i am afraid its too late. You are better off becoming a developer and trying to make something with it.

I am from Africa, Kenya to be specific, I wanted to know if there are any Beta testing plans for the African market?
