But a Chester Springs woman is taking on the repugnant world of dog
fighting with a simple message on a T-shirt: “Tackle Dog Fighting.”
“Like a lot of Eagles fans, I was upset when the Eagles signed Michael
Vick, and I had this passion to do something and not let the story
fizzle away,” said Tami O’ Sullivan. “People are opinionated about the
subject. They either think Michael Vick did his time and we should
move on, or they’re extremely upset about his past actions and have a
hard time believing he’s remorseful.
“As a society, we forget so easily and we keep moving on,” she added.
“But I think there’s a majority of people who weren’t willing to
forget. They were so stunned by the cruelty, and now he’s back in the
limelight making so much money. We can’t let go of what he did. I
wanted to keep the whole dog fighting issue alive around here.”
