NYC ACC IS ON A KITTEN KILLING SPREE

The official out-of-control slaughterhouse known as New York City's Animal "Care" Centers put 50  animals on the "At Risk" (aka Death) List for Tuesday October 28.  Of these, 20 were dogs, 2 were cats, and 18 were kittens.

While all these innocent lives are equally valuable, none more, nor less, than the others, the fact that ACC would so blatantly violate societal norms with such impunity reveals its sociopathic uncaring unbounded killing mentality. For societal norms and taboos prohibit not only  killing of the innocent, but killing of the young as well.

It will be critically important in New York City to bring pressure on whoever is elected Mayor on November 4 to address and reform the immoral situation at NYC ACC. Despite a lower intake rate, the killing rate  has increased, with horrific numbers of healthy adoptable animals killed, again with impunity, and NYC ACC refuses to adopt  the successful policies and programs of the No Kill Advocacy Center. New York City is becoming known nationwide as a slaughterhouse for dogs and cats, bringing shame to our city.  This must stop.
