Slaughter plants to rule themselves? Please act now!

Dear Animal Activists,

A terrible tragedy is about to unfold for animals being turned into food , an even worse nightmare that what they must endure already and you, with a few strokes of you keyboard can help us stop this disasterous plan.

The Food, Safety Inspection Service (FSIS) is taking comments until Dec.17th on what they call Food Compliance Guidlines.

This would allow slaughter plants to draw up their own plans on how to comply with the Humane Slaughter Act.

It's bad enouigh now that pigs and poultry are being improperly stunned ,their throats slit and while still alive plunged into vats of boiling water to drown while plant managers intimitate FSIS food inspectors to look the other way such as Dr. Friedlander experienced for ten years. Now it will be even worse.

And the safety of food will reach an all time high risk level because of this plan.

Click on that dropdown bar and it will bring you to the comment page where Lester's comments are.

You can comment on our site or go your own route.

However FSIS does not allow e-mail for some reason so our web master Nancy Watson is sending all the comments made on our site to the FSIS in bulk before the deadline Dec.17th.

If the FSIS does not respond to our concerns we can take them to court and perhaps prevent this diabolical plan in it's tracks
