http://www.thepetitionsite.com/131/948/490/save-the-candy-cane-cats/#sign - Save The Candy Cane Cats! This 2 year old fully TNR'd colony in Conroe, TX is at risk. The City Parks Dept. has forbidden feeding them.. They are building a new road. through the area. They refuse to allow relocation of them as well. Please sign to help save them. We have cared for this feral cat colony for almost 2 years. They have all been TNR'd and are healthy beautiful cats. The City Parks Dept. has forbidden us to feed them or care for them in any way. They said they were building a new road through their area and the cats have to go. They refuse to let us move them to another area of the park. They came in and stripped their habitat..removed their shelters and disposed of their feeding dishes. They deem them a nuisance and a health hazard. We have no resources to reloacate these cats. No place for them to go or funds for the relocation shelter that they will have to stay in until they acclimate to their new area. there is a very good chance that they will trap these cats and since they aren't adoptable they will be eiuthanized. Please sign and help us save them. Thank you!
