In respect to not agreeing. There is only one standing mission for all of MARS tasked in orders, it is tasked in those orders to the Army to execute, and all of MARS exercises it jointly. The Chief Army MARS and Chief AF MARS have agreed to provide joint support by assembling a joint staff (called RJMOG in the regions) to execute this support. The J staff is a construct that exercises limited authority over all MARS members in both services when Joint operations are directed. Although both service Chiefs encourage the region leaders to work together as a single team, consensus, compromise, or equal make up of the RJMOG is not required to exercise authority.
