General Messages to All Army, All DOD, etc.

Good morning,

Does the SECDEF or Army COS (or other DOD or Army Senior Officer) send out messages to All Army, or All DOD for periods other than the annual DOD/Amateur Radio Cross Band Test? Such as for Veteran's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Christmas, New Year's Day, etc.?

If so, as Army MARS members would we ever see them?

As a member of Navy MARS we would receive general messages of the like from the CNO or equivalent Senior Officers on a regular basis. It made us feel more like part of the overall organization.

Army MARS has a means to send messages of this nature to all the Regions through the use of the Broadcast from Ft. Huachuca.
