Job Description:
Responsible for ensuring that the customer/user receives the product that meets their needs. Works with the customer/user as well as the technical teams to identify issues, assess root causes, and propose solutions. Provides the information to the appropriate parties as actionable requirements.
Actively participates in developing use cases, test scenarios and QA testing. Including coordinating user acceptance testing. Throughout the software development lifecycle process is an advocate for the user, answering questions, working with the technical and project management teams, ensuring that requirements are interpreted consistently, and confirming that the customer receives what has been requested. Demonstrates a clear understanding of the systems in place and how they interoperate on a logical level.
Job Responsibilities:
• Assess, research, analyze and document sponsor/stakeholder needs.
• Work with key stakeholders, in various business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies related unstructured data in systems and applications.
• Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs.
• Work with senior level management to present and discuss findings from analysis, deliverables, and outcomes.
• Identify and analyze business problems and defines the scope of activities required to address the issues, including requirement definition, process review, impact assessment and operational streamlining where appropriate.
• Supports highly complex business processes.
• Develop test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures. Including running test scenarios.
• Supports the project manager in planning, executing, controlling, and closing phases.
• Develop and maintain strong relationship with business partners and internal/external team members.
• Identify issues and escalates/manages resolution as required.
• Coordinates and provides support to the business with the implementation.
• Works on multiple projects as a project team member
Qualifications:
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.
• 7-10 years of experience
• Familiarity with data privacy domain preferred
• Familiarity with data, data categorization, data flow within systems preferred
• Ability to solve technical problems/ processes and understand complex details
• A high level of interpersonal and verbal communication skills necessary to relate to other people at their systems knowledge level
Skills and Competencies:
• Ability to quickly learn organizational structure, business strategies and processes.
• Knowledgeable on business process modeling, process mapping.
• Capable of writing clear and well-structured business requirements documents.
• Contributes to the development of detailed level process maps to facilitate requirements gathering, gap analysis and for training use.
• Ability to create use case documents and detailed testing scenarios/plans.
• Demonstrated the ability to test applications and coordinate UAT testing.
• Ability to conduct manual testing efforts
• Understanding of Regression Testing
• Work with team members to understand the needs of the project.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
• Strong attention to detail
• Practical experience in working an Agile software development environment
