Is it possible to add a surface loading of nutrients, such as that due to atmospheric deposition? It is a significant source in the lake I am studying so I don't want to neglect it. Currently my only nutrient input is from the inflows. Thanks!

Hi Kathryn

This is possible now in GLM V3.0 beta3 and above (very recently added), for both wet and dry deposition. Wet deposition allows for a rain concentration, and dry deposition can be set as a flux. I would be happy if you could do some checks with the model as it is a new feature - could you please email me and I will organise test version?

Cheers

Hi Matt,
Is there an example met file that shows how to include rain concentration? I changed rain_sw = .true. in the glm3.nml file and added concentrations to the met file (with headers "rainPO4" etc) but see no difference. How does this relate to the simWetDeposition flag in aed2.nml?
Thanks,
Kathryn
