A friend sent me a journal post about a
3rref.com forum post that she found rather troubling.
As she quotes some of my experiences in this journal post, I have to note how I am 'taken a back' by this new episode of passing around of misinformation.
Here is a quote from this forum:
"So I have narrowed down my led selection to the
three usual suspects. The Maxspect Razor, the AI Vega, and the Eco Tech
Radion gen 2. Any feedback on these lights, personal use, would be
great."
As my friend noted, this is the same forum that made a 'straw man' personal attack on me in the past
So here we are again, when simple science would tell anyone with common sense that an LED Fixture that uses warm white and cool white emitters, not to mention not even the latest patented emitters should NOT be the "USUAL SUSPECTS"
Anyway, this is why I often find the hobby so frustrating and why I even started my own blog so as to counter all this copy and paste internet mis-information that is being passed around.
I know my Mentor noted a while back that since the Internet exploded, often fiction is treated as facts. He notes as an example the Internet myth of aquarium planaria or raw shrimp aquarium cycling.
Well lighting seems to be another.
Anyway, please see her post:
