Daphinia in Tank 4, and Smooth Sailing in Tank 2

In Tank 2 -- home of the wood shrimp pair, College and Caver -- the
Daphinia population has been exhausted -- if not completly. A small
separate tank (Tank 4) is now serving as a Daphinia refuge and massive
cyclops population. A half gallon quanity well fitted a 125 watt full
spec lamp. As it stands the shrimp College and Caver are thriving, as
well the College has stopped swimming off the logs looking for an
exist, all together.

Present parameters; Tank Two is a 30 gallon tank holding about 15
gallons of fresh water with about two tea spoons of Dr. Wells
freshwater aquarium salt, pH 7.6 and stable. Iodine not added this
week. Carbonate hardness of 3.5. and stable, water temp 25c. Blood
worms population small and stable. Common water Snails small and
stable, increased
harvesting in effect. Cyclops population unstable and almost
exhausted. Java ferns (4) stable and barely growing. Java moss (four
bunches) stable and barely
growing. Amazon swords (2) flora stable and growing. Lotus (1) flora
stable and rapidly growing. UnID "Spout"grass flora, present and
growing slowly. UnID "I" worms population small and stable.
