Basic model-segmentation fault-core dumped

HI,

 

It‘s been a long time to do some testing on the model.

 

Just a quick question,  I was trying to run the basic model without any modifications-simple run. However, I’m getting segmentation fault (./leodos.sh: line 207: 7760 Segmentation fault (core dumped) ns leodos.tcl $params >$tmp_file……. After this mssg the simulation continues and shows the results !!!!!

 

As I know, segmentation fault has to do with the memory…. The strange thing, when I run my modified copy, it works !!!! (attached the tcl and shell file,awk)

It would be nice if you can share with us about solving the problem.

The segmentation fault seems weird to me. Does It have something to do with the configuration of the Linux system or something else?

I just made :

Make clean then make ..

I'm not sure why ... However, it solved the problem .. During debugging, I have noticed the flow id number in the trace file going weird with numbers such 32,29,... Then I decided to try make..

It happens with NS2!!!
