This is what the FBI and the US Department of Justice are telling us. Their warning is based only on crimes that are actually reported, which happens to be around just 10%. By this time Tuesday, 1,000 women will have been beaten, raped, or murdered. If you think like me then this situation is simply NOT ACCEPTABLE. The honor of ANY woman is sacred and it our collective obligation (especially as Muslims) to make a change for the better.

1. Acknowledge that the danger is REAL.
