probation clarification

hi sir,
an employee appointed in group 2 service on 05/02/2012
 and he availed EL from 01/01/2014 to 10/01/2014.
my question is if he is availed EL then his probation extend or not.
tell me rule position if probation not extend.

any kind of leave you can use  without C.L's and Optional holidays with in probation period ,the date of probation must be extended to that leave period .
