Crontab and Aptly

I have been working with Aptly and got all of my tasks working in crontab, but my user accounts.  I have been trying to get it working with the system crontab but with no joy.

The main problem is I don't want the jobs to be running as my account, as we are using AD integrations.

Can you create a service account and have it run under that service account user?

Thanks for the advice, but it turns out it will not work for a service account.  So looks like it only works for my account.

I am unsure what your question is or what your problem is. You may need
to provide some specifical examples or more details.

For around six years, I have had a dedicated user and group specifically
only used for my aptly. I have a crontab for that "aptly" user which
automates some of my aptly commands. (A quick look shows my cron job has
moved over 90000 .deb files into aptly via our continuous generation
builds.)
