Just wanted to pop by to say thanks. I spent nearly an hour trying to get what I thought was apt-cyg (was actually cyg-apt) on my new puter before I fired up my old one and saw the erros of my ways. At that point I was thankfully just a few short moments away from enjoying commandline package control courtesy of this outstading effort.
