HI all, if anybody can glance at this problem and make suggestions, I'd be eternally grateful.  I am new to arpx.
I have set up APRX on a Raspberry pi with an Argent Data OT2.
I have put it on a random frequency in 70cm to keep weak signals from my bike away from the clutter on 144.390 MHz
But I do not get any output to aprs-is. My base station is ve3id-8 and my portable is ve3id-7.

Here are the contents of aprx-rf.log testing with my portable:

2020-05-21 12:49:55.391 VE3ID-8   R VE3ID-7>P0PPPP,WIDE1-1,WIDE2-1:'vX<0x1c>l <0x1c>[/>446.800MHz D-STAR>VA3MCU B ^
2020-05-21 12:53:12.285 VE3ID-8   R VE3ID-7>P0PPPP,WIDE1-1,WIDE2-1:'vX<0x1c>l <0x1c>[/>^

(446.8000 MHz is the frequency of my d-star hotspot, sent as it is the second frequency in the TH-D74)

And here are the contents of aprx.log:

2020-05-21 12:49:16.494 # aprsc 2.1.5-g8af3cdc 21 May 2020 12:49:16 GMT T2CAWEST 167.114.2.176:14580

Any help really appreciated!  I want to analyse my exercise cycling :-)

UPDATE AFTER INITIAL POST: Oops - editing error.  The closing marker for aprs-is is in the actual config file, just deleted it accidentally.

I do see that some of your packets with SSID 7 made it to aprsis however the latitude and longitude are both zero.

This isn't the fault of aprx however.  Check your radio to make sure GPS is on, or manually enter a valid latitude/longitude.

Thank you very much for taking the time to help!  I really appreciate it.
You have raised an interesting point. I went up to the roof garden of my condo, whence I can hit a digi/igate, set the radio to 144.39 and immediately got a report 'my position back' from W2OM across the lake, but the lat and long are missing from the received packet!

Funny thing is that looking at TH-D74's menus, it actually shows my position correctly.

Normally I would check using my TH-D72, but it has a bad battery, which I was to replace at the cancelled Dayton Hamvention last week :-(

Thanks again for the help, time to get analysing now I have a starting point!

Problem now solved. Radio had somehow got set to transmitting a fixed position, was was all zeroes. No idea how that happened, but it is now fixed thanks to you!

Good !
Nice to see you found the issue with Evan's help. I was looking line after line your config file to understand :)
Why not a TX-digi to enable messaging  function ?
Enjoy in APRS.
