APRX igate/digipeater question

I would like to setup a digipeater/igate at my home QTH.

For one day of the year I would like to go portable with the setup and use it as just a digipeater for a public service event.

If I use the setup scripts here:

https://github.com/PhirePhly/aprx

It will be configured as a digipeater and igate.

My question is.. if I remove it's internet connection and go portable, will it still perform digipeater functionality or do I have to reconfigure the software?
