Need python help with simple mod.

Is there anyone experienced with python that would like to help with a app that will allow remote aprx stations to send weather info to wunderground, cwop, twitter, email, texts, etc.

All is needed is to parse the aprx-rf.log and create a wxnow.txt file when weather arrives.
I have another app that grabs the wxnow.txt and sends it to meteobridge.
