Need igate at home, but want to go portable digipeater on occasion.

I'd like to set up an igate-digipeater at home qth  (most of the time)

But for one day of the year I'd like to take the setup and go portable as a digipeater only for a public service event.

If I setup using these scripts

My question is:

By default It is configured as an i-gate, if there is no internet connection, will it behave as a digipeater only? Or do I have to re-configure it?

the two functions are independant. you dont need to reconfigure.
