Is it possible to make animations that continue to play without interaction. For instance, one of the examples was a face, could you put a perlin noise generator on the face to make it more life-like?
Does it have, or can it be extended to have a concept of time, for instance by using expressions with timers?

There's currently no time feature that plays by itself. You can create a time variable and make a slider that controls "time" this way.

Adding time is definitely something I would like to add to Apparatus.
