Hi Vijay,

Operating system shouldn't matter, though if you are using a very old browser you may run into trouble.

Can you please report:

* What browser (including version) you are running,

* What exactly happens on the screen when you load http://aprt.us/editor/,

* If there are any messages in the JavaScript console (see https://webmasters.stackexchange.com/questions/8525/how-do-i-open-the-javascript-console-in-different-browsers if you don't know how to open it)

Thanks for your reply. Sorry for a confusion I should have mentioned that. When I said on windows I mean how to install it on Windows. Otherwise editor is working fine online in Chrome.

Is your goal to use Apparatus without an Internet connection?

If so, you're the first to ask for this, but it's a good thing to figure out! Please try this method:

1. Download https://github.com/cdglabs/apparatus-site/archive/gh-pages.zip. (This is a ZIP file of the Apparatus site.)

2. Unzip it, so you get a folder called "apparatus-site-gh-pages".

3. Go into the "editor" folder inside there, and open the file "index.html".

4. A working Apparatus editor should open in a web browser.

Once you have these files on your computer, they should continue working even without an Internet connection.

I tried this out and it works for me, but it might go wrong on other computers. Please let me know if you run into trouble.

Or, if you have a different goal, please let me know. (Perhaps you want to run Apparatus without a browser? Apparatus is an HTML application which needs a browser to run. It might be possible to package it together with a browser, but I cannot see any real benefits to this. For instance, it is still possible to use Apparatus offline, even with a normal browser.)
