Apparatus keeps crashing

My apparatus application after a couple of additions of graphics will freeze and crash. Is there a specific reason for this? Will there be any development update to resolve this?

Hello Pravika,

Apparatus hasn't been in development for a few years. It is unlikely to start back up, unless someone takes the code (https://github.com/cdglabs/apparatus) and runs with it, which is also unlikely.

Hi Apparatus Team,

Thank you for your prompt response.

I am very sad to hear that apparatus is no longer in development. I find it to be a very useful tool paired with the idyll language to create explorable explanations. 

I do have one quick question regarding the existing functionality of Apparatus. I know that you can evaluate JavaScript expression within the platform, however, I was wondering if there is any functionality that supports conditionals, such as an if statement? I know there are boolean values but was not sure how I could test the boolean value.
