Hi,

i couldn't find any switch or configuration part where to avoid sending timestamp in each packet that goes out from the aprs.fi to a TNC.

Hi,

The aprs.fi app does not have such a switch. It'd be great if all aprs
devices encoded a timestamp and there would be no way to turn it off.

Because APRS packets do not have any sort of sequence number, the
timestamp is the only way packet recipients (such as the aprs.fi web site)
can detect delayed & out-of-order packets, which are common on the APRS
network. They prevent the station tracks from jumping back and forth to
old positions due to delayed packets.
