APRS Sentence format

Hi,

Would the colon ":" in the following sentence create a problem in the ability of apr.fi to display the position?

JA3YUA-A>API52,DSTAR*:/002338h3437.38N/13534.29E>090/002/A=000012ID-52PLUS OP.SATOH

It seems Icom has implemented a new format (D-PRS) in one of their new HTs which deviates from the old GPS-A format.

People using the old GPS-A format could send their position to aprs.fi but it seems they can't do it anymore with the new format.

The only difference I could see between both formats is the addition of this extra colon in the new D-PRS format. Therefore I am wondering if that could be the source of the problem.

That is the only difference I see between both formats, so I am guessing this is the source of the problem but I would like to know what the more knowledgeable people in this discussion group think?

It turns out that this sentence format was used in the past and worked in previous HTs, therefore I have answered my own question. Thank you.
